The principal, Olivia Egan, is a fully qualified dance teacher in all 4 core subjects of the International Dance Teachers Association up to Associate Level in Ballet and Tap and Licentiate level in Modern Jazz and Theatre Craft as well as having a Dance Exercise Diploma. She has been teaching dance for 20 years and giving vocal tuition for 10 years. Singing students achieve high grades in their exams and regularly win awards from the Sheffield Region of the London College of Music for their grades.
Olivia is passionate about developing the whole person so that they can become a confident all round performer and develop transferable skills for future careers outside the sector. She carefully chooses and checks assistants from her senior classes to help with the younger students and encourages them to train as teachers themselves when the time is right. Olivia is registered as a chaperone for Children in Performance by Rotherham Borough Council and is DBS checked. She also teaches for the Lords School of Dance in Sheffield.
